A 2022 mixed media Modernist stabile by the American artist William Wesley. This whimsical sculpture is composed of a wooden body standing on three metal legs terminating in round wooden feet. A metal piece sits at the top of the wooden body and balances a metal rod counter-balanced with a variety of stones. The sculpture is signed "WW 22" to the underside of the wood.

William Wesley is a contemporary Wisconsin artist specializing in kinetic metal sculpture. While working security for Milwaukee's Summerfest for over 40 years, Wesley sought a creative outlet to reduce stress during his free time. Wesley's lifelong fascination with art led him to a special admiration of Alexander Calder, who has inspired Wesley to create his own mobiles and stabiles.
