An exceptional vintage gold charm modelled as a Hawker Hurricane fighter plane. Although not as well remembered as the Spitfire, the Hurricane served as the backbone of the RAF during WW2, and accounted for 60% of the air victories in the Battle of Britain. Designed in the early 1930s, RAF Test Pilot Sammy Wroath reported ‘The aircraft is simple and easy to fly and has no apparent vices’. It's modelled in 9 karat gold, with enamelled roundels and RAF tail markings. It dates from the 1940s.
