Overview:

We designed this black and white banded Moroccan rug in collaboration with our artisan partners in the Middle Atlas mountains. We imagined it living under a dining room table, or in a large living room space. The black and white color palette and the simple design contribute to the modern feel of this rug. Some of the black banded areas feature traditional designs woven on top in a soft white wool. These designs vary from one black band to the next. On a whole, they speak to the rich design lexicon that exists within the Zemmouri tribes of the Middle Atlas mountains.
