Our Creative Careers Programme works with young people from diverse backgrounds aged 15 to 24. Through workshops, talks and participant-led projects, the programme enables participants to broaden their understanding of the range of careers in the cultural sector, the routes in and the skills and experience needed to pursue them. Providing practical experience and behind-the-scenes insights, it seeks to raise aspirations and open up career paths in the creative sector. The programme of workshops targets young people from communities with low levels of engagement with contemporary art, thereby diversifying the pipeline of talent for these industries. In response to the economic impact of the pandemic on the arts, we are also broadening our offer in this area to support workshops and social events for emerging creative professionals aged 21–29.
Each £1,000 donation will enable us to deliver one workshop for up to 20 young people.
